Job summary

Express Flooring is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee the IT department's day-to-day functions, lead the IT Support team, and drive operational excellence. This hands-on leader balances technical expertise with people development and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Director of IT, you will manage projects, ensure secure, scalable infrastructure, and coordinate vendor work while maintaining documentation and asset management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT operations or related field experience.
• Experience leading or coordinating technical teams.
• Hands-on ITSM/ITAM experience; Jira Service Management preferred.
• Proven multi-project management from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, networking, endpoint management, and mobile devices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to delivering great tech experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations, prioritize support, mentor technicians, and ensure service delivery.
• Escalation point for complex issues across infrastructure, identity, and apps.
• Improve ITSM and ITAM processes, including Jira Service Management administration.
• Manage technology projects from planning through execution with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, asset inventories, and security controls.
• Coordinate vendor installations, service requests, and project deliverables.
• Support the Director of IT to keep the department running efficiently.
