Job summary

Expion Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the friendly face of IT, resolving hardware, software, and network issues for a hybrid team in North Bethesda. You’ll support on-site staff 2–3 days a week, with additional days for events as needed, and back up remote teammates nationwide.

You’ll diagnose problems, guide users through fixes, document resolutions, and help onboarding/offboarding in Microsoft 365/Entra ID, including license management.

Qualifications

• Associate or equivalent experience in IT support.
• 1–3 years in a helpdesk or technical support role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting instincts.
• Comfort working independently and in a hybrid team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including SharePoint/OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA/ZDX).
• Hands-on with MDM solutions such as Intune and Iru.
• Familiarity with AI assistants such as Claude and Copilot.
• Experience with FreshService or similar service desk platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on and remote IT support across the organization.
• Respond to user requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Guide users through clear, step-by-step solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff when needed.
• Document issues and resolutions for the team.
• Create and maintain knowledgebase articles in FreshService.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and records.
