Job summary

Pet Food Express seeks a reliable IT Help Desk Level 1 Technician to join our team. This entry‑level role supports store, warehouse, and corporate IT needs, resolving issues and participating in IT projects.

After initial on-site training, the position becomes hybrid with on-site work at our Concord, CA campus and other locations, with remote work possible for supported sites. The role requires strong customer service skills, basic Windows 10/11 and mobile OS knowledge, and the ability to learn

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to provide patient, professional customer service to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
Clear verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach
Ability to create clear, accurate and complete ticket notes, technical documentation and user instructions
Foundational Windows 10/11 and mobile OS knowledge; hardware basics
Willingness to travel to company locations as needed

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
Evaluate, document, and adopt new systems and processes to improve IT operations
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues with POS, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
Image, configure, and install IT hardware and software
Provide user orientations and training on IT systems
Create and update requests and incident documentation
Occasional travel to stores and warehouse facilities for installations
Perform additional duties as assigned
