Job summary

MAPP Technologies is seeking an IT Engineer who will support users, endpoints, Microsoft 365 services, internal systems, and IT infrastructure in a hybrid Microsoft, Azure Government, and manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on domain support, Microsoft 365 administration, Azure support, documentation, and practical user support.

The IT Engineer works under IT leadership and assists with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 GCC High, Azure Government resources,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support or similar technical role.
• Working knowledge of Windows desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Basic experience with AD, Entra ID, user accounts, security groups, MFA and access troubleshooting.
• Basic experience with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online support.
• General understanding of Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi and basic network troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Azure/Azure Government/M365 GCC High/Intune/ Fortinet or CMMC/NIST environments preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, document work clearly, communicate professionally, and escalate when appropriate.
• Certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
• Implementation: Implement computer systems and networks, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and network problems.
• Maintenance and Monitoring: Maintain and monitor system performance and security.
• Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to users and resolve technical issues.
• Security: Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of system designs and configurations.
• Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate new IT technologies.
• Training: Train users on new IT systems and hardware.
• Project Management: Lead project management activities, such as managing the implementation of new systems or software.
• Web Design: Maintain and update the company website.
