Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-disciplinary BIM efforts on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical/transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to create federated, clash-checked deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include running Navisworks clash detection, enforcing BIM standards, mentoring staff, and interfacing with clients and subconsultants to ensure data handoff aligns

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with technical CADD training.
• Extensive experience coordinating BIM models across disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk BIM tools and design standards.
• Experience with model-based deliverables and QC processes.
• Ability to mentor staff and communicate across offices.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination of intelligent models across disciplines.
• Run clash detection and lead resolution across teams.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on deliverables.
