Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Customer Experience/Policy Support specialist in the United States (Washington) to provide policy/account support in a high-volume service center. You will process transactions, quote and issue policies, and assist customers while maintaining product knowledge and compliance.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days from home) with comprehensive benefits. Training occurs 8:00–5:00 ET, and PTO is limited during training.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of work experience in a customer service, operations, or insurance industry.
• Associates Degree or higher.
• Demonstrated resiliency in high-volume environments and stressful situations.
• Clear written and verbal communication across multiple channels (phone, emails, etc...).
• Knowledgeable in insurance products.
• Ability to multitask on various activities.
• Strong math abilities.
• Ability to provide problem solving and implement solutions.
• Identify customer needs and take appropriate action.
• Build productive working relationships and be inclusive in the workplace.
• Drive towards achieving performance and expense management goals.

Responsibilities

• Processes incoming requests for policy changes and conducts routine policy reviews.
• Responsible for Policy Quoting and Issuance.
• May handle compliance transactions.
• Gathers information from customers to handle service requests.
• May require underwriting authority for certain transactions.
• Demonstrates understanding of Travelers products and procedures.
• Answers questions regarding policy aspects within authority.
• Identifies underwriting risks and routes to correct department.
• Ensures effective communication with internal/external parties after changes.
• Assists in special work assignments as identified.
• Acts as a customer support representative.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
