Howden is seeking a Client Service Specialist in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid work schedule. The role provides day-to-day client service and account support across the US Retail unit, including onboarding, policy servicing, renewals, and audits.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in insurance client service, experience with Applied Epic, and strong attention to detail. We value initiative, collaboration, and a proactive approach to process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Policy administration, endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, and client account maintenance.
• 4+ years of experience in insurance client service or related role.
• Experience using Applied Epic or another agency management system.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Client-focused professional with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with escalation as needed.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative team player across departments and support shared objectives.
• Self-motivated with proactive learning and continuous improvement.
• Curious and forward-thinking with interest in automation and tool development and UAT involvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• License: Property & Casualty preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Support clients throughout the policy lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, endorsements, renewals, audits, and account servicing.
• Prepare and process evidence of coverage requests, binders, endorsements, and other documents.
• Maintain accurate client and policy data in Applied Epic and other systems.
• Respond to inquiries from clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with carriers and teams to complete servicing requests on time.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy per standards.
• Escalate complex issues or exceptions to appropriate resources.
• Assist with billing inquiries and carrier communications.
• Respond to requirements with agility while upholding ethics.
