Job summary

Howden Group is expanding its US retail platform and seeking a Client Service Manager to lead and develop a team delivering exceptional end-to-end client service. You will oversee onboarding, renewals, certificates, and documentation, while driving efficiency and automation across processes.

The role emphasizes coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to regulatory standards in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance client service or operations, including minimum 2 years within Commercial Lines.
• 2+ years in a team-lead capacity; experience in leading an off-shore team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and oversee the Client Service team across onboarding, renewals, certificates, endorsements, and documentation.
• Escalation point for complex client or carrier issues; ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Standardize and enhance processes for client service; drive efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks; identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Verticals and internal teams to align service priorities and ensure smooth end-to-end client lifecycle.
