Job summary

Oncor is seeking an Instructional Designer to support our Talent Development team in designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions that boost employee performance and align with business goals.

You will apply ADDIE and adult learning principles to analyze needs, create engaging training, and optimize our learning ecosystem while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The role offers a hybrid work model in Dallas, with in-person onboarding as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of recent experience designing and delivering Learning Development solutions.
• Entry level experience in Learning Management Systems.
• Experience creating and maintaining SharePoint sites is preferred.
• Proficiency with eLearning tools including Articulate 360, Camtasia, SnagIt, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and ADDIE methodologies.
• Solid project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training using Human Performance, Adult Learning, and ADDIE methodologies.
• Analyze training needs and identify performance gaps with stakeholders.
• Create instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and web-based learning materials.
• Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, process documentation, and performance support tools.
• Administer and enhance SharePoint sites across the organization.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive content improvements.
• Perform basic LMS administrative tasks.
