Job summary

Alliance Health in North Carolina is seeking an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and evaluate learning solutions. The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence in Morrisville or Mecklenburg offices one to two days biweekly and occasional travel within NC.

You'll partner with SMEs and business partners to create engaging, accessible content across e-learning, job aids, guides, and facilitator materials, applying ADDIE/SAM and evaluating outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field with five years of instructional-design experience.
• Preferred certifications in instructional design, adult learning, e-learning, accessibility, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions using instructional-design methodologies.
• Create high-quality training materials and digital content (e-learning, job aids, guides).
• Collaborate with SMEs and business partners to translate complex information into learner-centered content.
• Manage learning-design projects from discovery to implementation and evaluation.
• Apply adult learning principles, accessibility considerations, and quality standards.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness using appropriate models and feedback for continuous improvement.
