Airgas is hiring for an Inside Sales Specialist in Duluth, GA, offering a base salary plus bonus opportunities. The role emphasizes building and maintaining customer relationships, growing the sales pipeline, and achieving gross margin goals through outbound and inbound customer engagement.

You will leverage SAP and Salesforce to document quotes, orders, and customer insights, collaborating with Regional Managers and store personnel to optimize portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior sales experience or customer service at Airgas.
• Strong self-motivation and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• College degree preferred.
• Industrial distribution or knowledge of PPE, Welding and Gases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the sales pipeline through outbound and inbound calls.
• Grow existing customer relationships and drive gross margin through proactive outreach.
• Document quotes and orders in SAP; manage returns and credits with accuracy.
• Use Salesforce.com for sales planning and customer profiling; log insights.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to improve communication and portfolio planning.
• Participate in team meetings and mentor peers as needed.
