Job summary

Airgas is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Macon, GA to partner with customers on industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and other essentials. You will provide guidance on tools and materials, demonstrate equipment, and advise on product quality to support customer projects.

The role includes serving as a Backup VMI Driver to ensure timely delivery and inventory replenishment, while maintaining accurate paperwork and data entry.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence is essential.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license required; MVR will be checked.
• Frequent computer/phone usage; forklift operation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone customers; identify product needs and locate merchandise.
• Enter sales and quote data into the system; prepare quotes.
• Process payments and finalize sales transactions.
• Coordinate delivery and replenishment of industrial products and inventory.
• Maintain organized stock and showroom presentation; assist with stock and ticketing.
