Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for a hybrid-based role near Indianapolis, IN. The role supports management, outside sales engineers and customers in solving technical, service and commercial issues while aiming to close orders and optimize pricing.

Responsibilities include coordinating quotes, interpreting plans and specifications, facilitating timely solutions, coordinating warranty/returns, and project managing small to medium initiatives with strong customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum one year of work experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Must reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN.
No relocation offered.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

Coordinate pricing quotes with the field sales team, pricing department, and product managers.
Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications; determine BOM and competitive price level.
Proactively facilitate timely solutions to customer issues using available resources.
Coordinate warranty and non-warranty repairs and returns, including shipping/service requests.
Project manage small to medium projects as needed.
Establish and maintain strong commercial relations with present and potential customers.
