Job summary

QBE is seeking a skilled IT infrastructure professional to build, administer, and maintain unified communications infrastructure in alignment with company policies. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless delivery, translate designs into operational plans, and work with third parties to provide effective services.

The role requires ownership of security, problem resolution, and end-to-end service delivery across a multi-location environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a tertiary degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Experience in regulated industries, ideally finance services, with large distributed environments, is preferred.
• Experience working within an ITIL service management framework.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems in line with regulations.
• Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues to meet business needs.
• Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
• Create system designs to meet defined business needs with stakeholders.
• Identify and assess risks; act as SME to guide risk-based decisions.
• Ensure service delivery covers the full life cycle and vendor performance.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver excellent customer experience.
