247Hire is seeking a Unified Communications Technician to ensure seamless operation of AV, VTC, and telephony systems. The role covers in-house AV in conference rooms, IPTV in the office, and leading major event prep and technical ops for live events.

The position requires 3+ years with Zoom/Teams AV, experience with digital signage platforms, and room installation expertise. This role emphasizes reliability, security, and standards across the UC infrastructure.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience with Zoom and Teams AV, phone, and events; audio visual engineers, camera operators, etc.
Knowledge of Digital Signage – 3+ years' with Digital Signage platforms such as AppSpace, Populo, BrightSign.
Room installation experience (3+ years); updating AV technologies.

Responsibilities

Support and manage AV, VTC, and phone issues.
Oversee the management of in-house AV equipment in conference rooms.
Handle TV (IPTV) systems within the office.
Serve as the main contact for major event preparation and technical operations for live events.
Manage Zoom Phone and other communication tools.
Provide guidance and design recommendations for all related systems.
Ensure the quality, reliability, and security of the unified communications infrastructure.
Monitor the performance, availability, and capacity of the systems.
Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for the unified communications systems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry best practices.
Handle Digital Signage requests.
