Job summary

QSC is seeking a Lead Architect to steer the Unified Communications & Collaboration hardware and software portfolio, covering Audio, Video, and Control domains. This senior role interfaces with product management and engineering to define system architectures and meet Teams/Zoom certification requirements.

You will influence roadmaps, mentor engineers, and lead certification engagements in lab and field settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in audio/video/collaboration hardware/software
• Direct experience designing and certifying Teams/Zoom devices
• Deep knowledge of Teams and Zoom device certification programs
• Strong architectural background across Audio/Video signal chains

Responsibilities

• Stay ahead of the ecosystem: track Teams/Zoom platform specs and certifications
• Define end-to-end system architectures for Audio/Video/Control subsystems
• Determine hardware/software requirements for certification and customer needs
• Partner with product management to shape features and roadmap
• Provide technical guidance to engineering/QA/product teams
• Lead certification lab engagements and submissions when needed
• Consult on architecture and design decisions for compliance and manufacturability
• Offer architectural oversight across Audio and Video with knowledge of Control systems
