Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise IT infrastructure. The role focuses on end-to-end design, deployment, and maintenance of unified communications across a large health system, partnering with business units to apply technology effectively and securely.

The engineer will mentor junior staff, respond to incidents around the clock, and contribute to capacity planning and infrastructure improvements while adhering to ITIL

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree in related field.
• Experience supporting multiple infrastructure disciplines.
• Works with business units to assist with technology applications.
• ITIL certification within 6 months of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
• Experience with Wide Area and Local Area Network Infrastructure.
• Experience with management platforms and remote monitoring.
• Experience in mid to large enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of Storage Area Networks and Fiber Channel Switch Infrastructure.
• 50% of relevant experience may substitute certification requirement.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and training of junior team members.
• Escalation point for Infrastructure Engineers.
• Conducts current state analysis and recommends design changes.
• Assists with roadmap planning of production infrastructure.
• Implements and maintains enterprise standards for applications and infrastructure.
• Installs and configures systems according to design specifications.
• Supports testing and evaluation of technologies under review.
• Provides 24x7 incident response and problem resolution.
