WRITER is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain reliable, high-availability platforms across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will design scalable systems, automate across the stack, and drive reliability in a high-growth environment.

This role emphasizes AI-assisted workflows, strong incident response, and close collaboration with product and security teams. You will own on-call duties, define SLOs, and contribute to the evolution of our multi-region infrastructure while leveraging Terraform,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar (high-growth product company).
• Experience running production containerisation with Kubernetes in major clouds (AWS preferred).
• Automation-focused: Python or Go for tooling; AI-assisted workflows in daily work.
• Ability to reason from first principles; identify weaknesses and propose reliable solutions.
• Designs for reversibility, blast-radius control, monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services end-to-end.
• Define SLOs, error budgets, and on-call processes.
• Collaborate across product, security, and engineering to scale infra.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses.
• Translate requirements into scalable cloud infrastructure and runbooks.
