Job summary

WRITER is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our rapidly growing platform. You will build resilient systems, automate across the stack, and champion reliability practices to enable enterprise AI workflows.

You’ll own end-to-end reliability and SLOs, drive on-call improvements, and collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to scale across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Hybrid work from our NYC, SF, Seattle, or London hubs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience at a high-growth product company.
• Experience running production containers with Kubernetes and Terraform or Pulumi on at least one major cloud (AWS preferred).
• AI-assisted workflows in daily tooling are required.
• Strong incident response and on-call management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and efficiency end-to-end for WRITER's core services.
• Define and uphold SLOs and error budgets; manage on-call pager.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses and feed insights back to the architecture.
• Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to scale observability and reliability across multi-cloud environments.
