Job summary

MaintainX’s Infrastructure team, part of Platform Engineering, is hiring to strengthen its AI-native platform for internal developers. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure, scalable deployments across regions using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, advance observability, and collaborate with engineering teams to enable autonomous service deployment. On-call rotation and security best practices are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficient with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with observability tools, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve our cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) as code with Terraform.
• Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with guardrails for safe agentic releases by default.
• Manage and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters.
• Maintain and evolve Helm charts and deployment workflows as reusable.
• Strengthen observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting; define alert ownership.
• Harden infrastructure security, image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, firewall configuration.
• Partner with product engineering teams to support infrastructure needs.
• Enable developers and agents to deploy and manage services independently.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
