Job summary

WRITER is hiring an Infrastructure engineer to join our hybrid team across NYC, SF, Seattle, or London. You will build scalable, reliable systems, automate across the stack, and push reliability best practices to support AI-powered workflows for enterprise customers.

You will own incident response, design for high availability, and collaborate with product and security teams to drive reliability, observability, and cost discipline as WRITER scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar role at a high-growth product company.
• Experience running containerised production environments with Helm and Terraform or Pulumi on major clouds (AWS preferred).
• AI-enabled workflows and agentic tooling used in daily development and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services end-to-end.
• Define and uphold SLOs and error budgets; carry on-call pager.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to align infra with business goals.
