The position requires 1–3 years of sales or customer service experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and eligibility for NMLS if mortgage activities are performed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales and customer service or consumer loan processing/interviewing experience.
• High School diploma plus additional coursework from vocational/technical/business school or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for NMLS licensing if performing mortgage loan origination activities.
• Must be able to obtain CUNA Mutual licensing within eight weeks of initial employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle outgoing and incoming member phone calls, conduct loan interviews, assess needs, and cross-sell SCCU products and services.
• Open new memberships and look for opportunities to add-on deposit products for existing members to ensure retention and profitability.
• Analyze loan applications, credit bureau reports and member data to match members to suitable products.
• Enter loan or new account applications in the loan origination system and monitor the pipeline to follow up on pending applications.
• Meet productivity standards and participate in training on policies, procedures, and product offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings.
