Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist I at the Baytree Headquarters location in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on post-origination loan administration, servicing tasks, and member support, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and service quality.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week, a start salary in the stated range, and opportunities for growth within a not-for-profit, member-focused organization.

Formación

• 1-3 years prior experience in a financial institution or equivalent is required.
• Loan Servicing experience or equivalent is desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Corrects loans as needed by adjusting rate, term, and payment posting errors to create an accurate member loan history.
• Assists in the maintenance of insurance tracking and collateral securitization and release.
• Answer incoming phone calls within a phone queue and make outbound phone calls.
• Process miscellaneous check transactions for the department, including payments, payoffs, and disbursement of checks.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries regarding loan accounts and other related matters. Resolve basic issues or escalation complex cases to senior Team Members as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan records.
