Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist I at its Baytree Headquarters in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on administering and managing loans post-origination, supporting the Loan Servicing department, and delivering exceptional service to members and team members.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with two in-office days, and requires 1–3 years in a financial institution.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior experience in a financial institution or equivalent is required.
• Loan Servicing experience or equivalent is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Corrects loans as needed by adjusting rate, term, and payment posting errors to create an accurate member loan history.
• Assists in the maintenance of insurance tracking and collateral securitization and release.
• Answer incoming phone calls within a phone queue and make outbound phone calls.
• Process miscellaneous check transactions for the department, including payments, payoffs, and disbursement of checks.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries regarding loan accounts and other related matters; escalate complex cases to senior team members as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan records.
