Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is a leading public sector solutions firm seeking a System Integration Business Analyst for hybrid, full-time work in the Boston area. You will drive system integration projects, gather requirements, write specs, and partner with developers and QA to ensure delivery.

You will engage with client sponsors, document use cases, manage risks, and support planning discussions while leveraging SDLC frameworks to modernize legacy systems in a public-sector context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based software.
• Experience with COTS or SaaS solutions.
• Experience in SDLC using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid Agile approaches.
• Experience implementing integrated solutions to modernize legacy systems.
• Proficient with MS Office (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements through workshops and interviews.
• Write clear functional specifications for system features.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders to review designs.
• Serve as central contact for development and QA staff throughout lifecycles.
• Provide timely updates on deliverables to project managers.
• Support integration of software components and third-party apps.
• Document client use cases and business processes.
• Contribute to project documents like schedules and test plans.
• Assist with planning discussions and risk management.
• Understand SDLC methodologies and apply them appropriately.
• Support business development activities including RFP review.
