Job summary

Public Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a full-time System Integration Business Analyst to drive innovative system integration projects for public-sector clients. You will gather requirements, write specifications, and collaborate with dev teams to implement solutions in a hybrid Agile environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication with sponsors, stakeholder management, and documentation across SDLC phases, including risk management and planning support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with cloud-based software.
• Experience with COTS or SaaS solutions.
• Experience in all phases of the system development life cycle using Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid Agile approaches.
• Experience implementing integrated solutions to modernize legacy systems and/or mainframe tech.
• Proficient with MS Office tools including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Experience gathering requirements through workshops and interviews.
• Write clear and comprehensive functional specifications for new/enhanced system features.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement proposed solutions.
• Communicate designs and collect feedback with client sponsors and stakeholders.
• Serve as central point of contact for development and QA during lifecycles.
• Provide timely updates on deliverables to project managers.
• Support integration of software components and third-party applications.
• Gather, evaluate, and document client use cases and business processes.
• Contribute to schedules, quality management plans, testing plans, and conversion plans.
• Support clients during planning and strategic discussions.
• Identify risks/issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Understand SDLC methodologies and their applications.
• Support business development including RFP review/writing.
