Job summary

Daikin Applied, headquartered in the United States, seeks an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to act as a technical sales expert, developing and maintaining customer relationships, selling maintenance contracts, and advising on HVAC products and BAS solutions.

The role is a hybrid position based in the Austin District Service Office with regular local travel to customers and job sites. Compensation ranges from $74,000 to $120,000 annually, plus incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales success in a related industry (commercial HVAC preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Willingness to travel territory daily.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (preferred).
• Experience creating sales proposals and reviewing contracts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with customers and partners.
• Meet sales goals by expanding existing accounts and prospecting new business.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and sales contracts.
• Travel within territory to call on customers and sites.
• Prepare pipeline reports and business plans.
• Leverage tools like energy rebates and ROI to support sales efforts.
