Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Austin seeks an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to act as a technical sales expert, developing and maintaining customer relationships while selling preventative maintenance contracts and advising on HVAC products and BAS solutions.

You will work hybrid from the Austin District Service Office, traveling locally to customers and job sites, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with related work experience.
• 2+ years of sales success in commercial HVAC or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory daily.
• Ability to generate leads and build relationships.
• Experience with Salesforce or sales tracking software preferred.
• Experience creating proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships to meet sales goals.
• Sell preventative maintenance contracts and advise on HVAC products and BAS solutions.
• Travel throughout territory to call on customers and prospects.
• Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and continuations.
• Coordinate preparation of cost estimates; verify quotes and terms.
• Prepare pipeline, sales activity, and business plan reports.
• Identify tools/resources to assist sales efforts (rebates, ROI).
• Lead projects with internal/external experts to deliver complex solutions.
