Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Field Sales Engineer in the Greater Miami Area (Hybrid). You will partner with mechanical contractors, owners, and consultants to direct design and specifications for Daikin equipment in commercial and industrial projects.

You will manage a Salesforce pipeline, meet sales quotas, and collaborate with internal teams to price, bid, and close opportunities across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 4–6+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC sales engineering.
• Experience with Salesforce or CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Secure sales orders by contacting and calling on mechanical contractors, developers, end users, and general contractors targeting commercial buildings and industrial plants.
• Achieve sales quotas and annual sales plans.
• Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis.
• Maintain opportunity pipeline within Salesforce to create accurate forecasts.
• Coordinate with operations to price, bid, and submit proposals and bids.
