Job summary

Hartzell Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Comfort Consultant in a hybrid role that combines in-home consultations with field visits and home-office administration. You will assess comfort concerns, evaluate HVAC systems, and recommend cost-effective solutions while educating homeowners.

Ideal candidates will have proven sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to explain HVAC concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain HVAC concepts in simple terms to homeowners.
• Proven ability to manage a hybrid schedule and field visits.
• Professional, consultative approach focused on solutions.
• HVAC knowledge or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to assess comfort issues and HVAC needs.
• Perform system evaluations and identify repair, maintenance, or replacement opportunities.
• Educate customers on HVAC options, energy efficiency, and comfort solutions.
• Present recommendations clearly and professionally to help decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams for follow-through and satisfaction.
• Complete required documentation, proposals, and follow-up communications.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
