Job summary

WM Senior Account Executive in the East Raleigh and Sanford, NC territory, hybrid role with occasional visits to the local office. Candidates must reside in the territory and will handle both new business development (hunting) and retention of existing accounts (farming).

This position emphasizes hunting, cold calling, and prospecting for new business, with outside field sales experience preferred in a B2B setting. Prior experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree.
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relative work experience.
• 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, B2B cold calling and phone prospecting resulting in customer appointments.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and close sales to new customers to achieve budgeted sales goals.
• Develop and implement sound selling strategies to ensure revenue growth at target profitability.
• Manage existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales and price goals.
• Maintain sales pipeline and achieve goals for new sales.
• Engage in retention calls to improve customer service and profitability.
• Propose customer solutions aligned with local, state and federal regulations.
• Communicate pricing and service strategies; collaborate with Area Sales Managers on issues.
• Acquire industry knowledge to prepare proposals and advise on equipment optimization and leasing options.
