Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead health, safety and environment practices across assigned sites. You will provide expert guidance to operations teams and clients, applying safety management systems and industry standards with minimal supervision.

You will mentor HS&E personnel, conduct hazard assessments, manage incidents and injuries, and analyze safety data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

One or more years of practical experience as an HS&E professional; telecommunications experience is preferred.
Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education is an asset.
Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Proven ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders across all levels of project hierarchy, fostering cooperation and compliance with HS&E standards.
Ability to pass all pre-access requirements including clean driver\'s abstract, drug screen and breathalyzer.

Responsibilities

Hazard assessments, inspections, and audits; identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and verify corrective actions.
HS&E process guidance; on-site support for implementing HS&E programs and safety systems.
Mentorship and support for HS&E Coordinators and Advisors.
Data collection and reporting; analyze safety data and recommend improvements.
Incident management; lead investigations and train teams on best practices.
Occupational injury/illness management; support return-to-work processes and preventive measures.
