Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in the United States seeks an HS&E Advisor to lead Health, Safety and Environment practices at project sites. You will provide expert guidance to operations teams and clients, applying safety management systems across work environments with minimal supervision.

You will mentor HSE staff, conduct hazard assessments, lead incident investigations, monitor return-to-work, and analyze safety data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical experience as an HSE professional - telecommunications experience is preferred
• Formal OH&S education is an asset
• Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proven ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders across all levels of project hierarchy
• Ability to pass all pre-access requirements including clean driver's abstract and drug screen and breathalyzer

Responsibilities

• Hazard Assessments, Inspections, and Audits: you develop hazard assessments and report corrective actions
• HSE Process Guidance: you provide on-site guidance on implementing HS&E programs
• Mentorship and Support: you mentor HSE Coordinators and Advisors
• Data Collection and Reporting: you assess effectiveness of corrective actions and analyze safety data
• Incident Management: you lead incident investigations and train operations teams on processes
• Occupational Injury/Illness Management: you support return-to-work and preventive safety measures
