Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking an HR Specialist to deliver day-to-day HR administration for a multi-state manufacturing workforce, including onboarding, payroll support, and compliance. The role balances on-site and remote work with a four-on-site, one-remote schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or 4+ years of HR experience), strong Excel skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance HR processes and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of HR generalist/specialist experience across the full employee lifecycle.
• Payroll knowledge including garnishments and multi-state payroll.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue offer letters with accurate compensation and start dates.
• Coordinate onboarding, including I-9 and E-Verify, HRIS setup, and orientation scheduling.
• Process PAFs for hires, changes, promotions, transfers, leaves, and status changes.
• Administer the termination process and final pay coordination.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data.
