Job summary

Carex Consulting Group is partnering with a Manufacturing industry partner to hire an HR Specialist responsible for delivering comprehensive human resources administration across a multi-state workforce of hourly and salaried employees. This exempt role focuses on onboarding, employee changes, HRIS data integrity, and payroll support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with four days onsite and one day remote per week,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and wage garnishments.
• Familiar with I-9, E-Verify, and wage-hour compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue offer letters with accurate compensation, titles, and start dates.
• Coordinate onboarding, including pre-employment checks, I-9 and E-Verify, HRIS setup, orientation.
• Process PAFs for hires, changes, promotions, transfers, leaves, and status changes.
• Manage separations, final pay, benefits notifications, and equipment returns.
• Maintain confidential HR records and HRIS data accuracy.
