Job summary

Keolis North America Inc. is seeking a results-driven HR and Recruitment professional to support onboarding, screening, and interviewing in a hybrid on-site setting.

You will coordinate background checks, document collection, and candidate communications while maintaining compliance with HR policies and safety standards. The role requires 2+ years in recruiting and HR, with strong interviewing and organizational skills, and experience with ATS (UKG) and multiple job boards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years sourcing/recruiting experience, high-volume recruiting preferred.
• Minimum 2 years progressive HR experience.
• Experience with HR databases and ATS (UKG knowledge preferred).
• Ability to conduct various interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
• Hands-on with recruitment processes (phone interviews, reference checks).
• Experience with job boards (Indeed, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Understanding of HR practices and policies.
• Labor union experience preferred.
• Transit environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, job boards.
• Screen resumes and applications.
• Conduct interviews using various tools to filter candidates.
• Assess knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
• Maintain detailed documentation on candidate progress in recruitment database.
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to recruitment sources.
• Research community services and employment agencies to build sources.
• Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews.
• Evaluate candidates with management; create job offers.
• Track recruitment progress and offers; communicate with local management and corporate staff.
• Promote the company as the best place to work.
• Some local travel may be required.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.
• Assist with onboarding activities and background checks.
