Job summary

Keolis is seeking a hybrid HR Administrator/Recruiter to manage onboarding, background checks, and candidate sourcing. You will conduct interviews, maintain recruitment records, and coordinate job postings while supporting HR projects and engagement initiatives.

The role combines HR administration with recruitment, requiring strong communication, organization, and compliance with safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of sourcing/recruiting experience required, high volume recruiting preferred.
• 2 years progressive HR experience required.
• Experience with ATS/HR databases (UKG preferred).
• Ability to conduct various interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
• Hands-on with selection processes (phone screens, references).
• Experience with job boards (Indeed, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Understanding of HR practices and policies.
• Labor union environment experience preferred.
• Transit environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• This role is on-site and a hybrid role with a 50/50 split between HR administration and Recruitment.
• Serve as the primary onboarding contact for new employees.
• Assist with background checks and collect candidate documents.
• Monitor HR recruiting best practices and maintain onboarding documents.
• Conduct HR orientation presentations and update admin reports.
• Support recruitment sourcing, screening, and interviewing activities.
• Maintain documentation of candidates’ progress in the recruitment system.
• Coordinate job postings and recruitment materials.
• Support Employee Engagement initiatives and events.
• Assist with safety, RTMS processes, and audits.
