Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HRBP/Generalist roles, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to navigate employment law with empathy. This on-site role in Rockford, IL offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of HR Business Partner and/or Generalist experience.
• Have a bachelor’s degree.
• Are confident navigating employee relations scenarios and explaining the why behind decisions.
• Have strong executive presence and experience working closely with leaders and managers at all levels of an organization.
• Can balance employment law and compliance with empathy and pragmatism.
• Build trust easily — even in mostly virtual environments.
• Are comfortable making and standing behind unpopular decisions when needed.
• Like being a partner to the business, not just a processor of policies.
