Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking an HR Generalist to support the employee lifecycle and partner with the HR Manager and department leaders. The role covers onboarding, records management, benefits inquiries, and policy guidance.

You'll deliver new-hire processing, assist with employee relations, and participate in training development while providing payroll and benefits support as needed. A hybrid work setup in Savannah, GA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
• Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor with associates.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-cycle onboarding and orientation support, including new-hire processing and compliance administration.
• Support associates through the employee lifecycle and connect them with HR resources.
• Maintain accurate employee databases, records and reports.
• Answer routine questions on policies, benefits, and HR processes.
• Support employee relations and assist with investigations when needed.
• Assist with training program development and cross-functional projects.
• Provide backup support across payroll, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
