Job summary

Healthy Start, Inc. seeks a dedicated HR Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee relations across the organization.

You will ensure compliance with labor laws, maintain accurate records, and partner with leadership to execute HR initiatives in a hybrid work environment. The role requires a bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field and 3–5+ years of HR experience, with proficiency in HRIS (Paycom preferred) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years HR experience.
• Experience onboarding, training, or employee development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting: Support recruitment and posting of job descriptions; coordinate candidate communication and scheduling.
• Onboarding: Ensure a consistent onboarding process and deliver orientation sessions; maintain payroll documents.
• Record maintenance: Keep accurate employee records and update records for changes.
• Training and development: Assist with training needs, plan and deliver sessions, track completion.
• Employee relations: Serve as a point of contact, support engagement initiatives, and assist with investigations.
