Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions in Appleton, WI is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a hybrid role requiring 2 days on-site weekly. The role supports employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance with employment laws under HR leadership.

You will help manage performance processes, disciplinary actions, and policy documentation while promoting engagement and supporting HR initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as HR Generalist.
• Experience resolving workplace conflicts and coaching leaders in a positive, inclusive environment.
• Experience managing leave of absence programs and ADA accommodations with compliance.
• SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for associate relations and HR inquiries, acting as liaison for associates and managers.
• Administer leave of absence programs including FMLA and ADA in compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Support onboarding including verification of employment forms and enrollment questions.
• Maintain secure, current associate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead performance management and disciplinary actions with guidance from senior HR staff.
• Contribute to HR initiatives and promote associate engagement.
• Participate in open enrollment and HR audits as needed.
• Support policy updates and handbook maintenance.
• Manage HR special projects and drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with HR team to continuously improve HR processes.
