Navitus is seeking a hybrid Human Resources Generalist in the Madison area. The role provides front‑line HR support across onboarding, benefits, leave administration and compliance with employment laws. It requires robust HR skills and a collaborative approach to associate relations.

The position supports performance management, policy development, and daily HR operations under HR leadership. This role offers growth opportunities within a values‑driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Generalist role.
• Experience resolving workplace conflicts and performance management issues, coaching leaders and fostering a positive environment.
• Experience managing leave of absence programs and administering ADA accommodations, with compliance awareness.
• Participate in compliance program objectives and support openness and respectful interactions.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for associate relations and HR inquiries, providing information within policies.
• Administer leave programs including FMLA and ADA in compliance with requirements.
• Support onboarding including employment forms and enrollment questions.
• Maintain secure associate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead performance management and disciplinary actions with guidance from senior staff.
• Contribute to HR initiatives and promote associate engagement.
• Participate in open enrollment and HR audits.
• Support policy updates and handbook maintenance.
• Manage HR projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with HR to enhance HR processes.
