Job summary

Dutchess Cannabis is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our Dutchess dispensaries in a hybrid role, with store visitation required. The HR Administrator will support day-to-day people operations and assist the HR Director in policy administration, balancing employee advocacy with business needs.

You will manage HRIS files, support recruiting, handle employee relations and policy inquiries, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and communicate effectively across stores.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage day-to-day people operations and HR policies.
• Experience counseling on interpretation and application of policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate personnel file management and HRIS records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of solutions to support key objectives.
• Counsel organizations on policy interpretations for specific issues.
• Maintain personnel files and HRIS data accuracy.
• Support HR process improvements with change management principles.
• Communicate with diplomacy while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support full-cycle recruiting: job posts, onboarding, orientation, recognition programs.
• Address employee questions on workplace policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws; update policies.
• Manage competing priorities and stress; communicate effectively across teams.
• Some travel may be required within designated markets.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
