Job summary

Highway Horticulture is seeking an HR Coordinator to support frontline HR operations, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The role involves working with the HR Manager to provide a safe, inclusive, and innovative work environment.

This position will operate in a hybrid model with both remote and onsite visits to the Kalamazoo area, collaborating across departments to maintain accurate records and compliant HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing candidates, screen applicants, and schedule in-person interviews.

• Respond to routine HR questions and escalate when needed.
• Maintain LMS enrollments, assignments, and reporting.
• Provide admin support for training, development, and succession planning.
• Coordinate equipment, access, and provisioning for team members and contractors.
• Support documentation for performance reviews and HR actions.
• Assist with payroll records, timekeeping, and corrections as directed.
• Maintain confidential team member records and privacy compliance.
• Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance documentation.
