Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to lead the firm’s employment compliance function across federal, state, and local laws. You will partner with leadership to strengthen policies, perform risk assessments, audits, training, and advisory support while ensuring regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in HR compliance.
• PHR or SPHR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes in federal, state, and local employment laws and update policies.
• Serve as SME on HR policies for HR, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Lead HR compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and communicate HR policies and guidance materials.
• Oversee mandatory HR compliance training programs (harassment prevention, conduct).
• Report on HR compliance metrics and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with HR Technology to align Workday configurations.
