Job summary

Winebow is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to align business objectives with employees across a hybrid environment in Illinois. The HRBP will drive change management initiatives, partner with leaders, and ensure regulatory compliance within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, advising on labor laws and union contracts, guiding performance management, and developing recruitment strategies using the HRIS to post and monitor opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner environment.
• Associate’s degree or completion of SHRM certification within the first year in the position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related degree preferred.
• SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
• Working knowledge in HRIS systems, UKG preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates a collaborative environment; engages with partners to align on strategic goals.
• Participates and leads regular meetings with business leaders within assigned territories.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and compliance.
• Represents the company for unemployment claims and supports union contracts where applicable.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management, including coaching and development.
• Develops recruitment strategies and posts opportunities in HRIS; maintains HR standards.
