Placements24's client, a growing manufacturing company, seeks a proactive Junior Human Resources Assistant for a hybrid role supporting HR functions from East London, Eastern Cape, ZA. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, records management, and HR administration in a collaborative team.

This role offers hands-on learning, exposure to payroll, benefits, and employee relations, with discretion and organization as key strengths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, psychology or related field.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience with HRIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment: post ads and screen resumes.
• Coordinate interviews and candidate assessments.
• Support onboarding and ensure documentation is completed.
• Maintain HR records and update databases.
• Provide HR admin support and filing.
• Support employee relations and policy inquiries.
• Help organize HR training sessions and events.
• Assist payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
