Job summary

Our client, a dynamic financial services provider in East London, Eastern Cape, seeks an meticulous and organized HR Operations Specialist to manage daily HR operations and support HR initiatives. This hybrid role requires strong data integrity, efficient processes, and excellent communication across a diverse workforce.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, at least 3 years in HR ops, knowledge of SA labour law, and proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations or similar administrative role.
• Strong understanding of labour law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) ensuring data accuracy for all employee records.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departures.
• Administer payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payment of salaries and benefits.
• Support HR team with administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, maintaining up-to-date documentation.
• Assist in generating HR reports and analytics for management review.
• Manage employee documentation and records, ensuring confidentiality and organization.
• Coordinate HR projects and initiatives as required.
• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and management, addressing queries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
