Georgia Connections Academy seeks a Certified Middle School Science Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction from the Duluth, GA area and at home within Georgia. The role blends synchronous virtual teaching with required in-person activities across the state.

You will engage families, monitor student progress, and use data to drive growth while supporting comprehensive assessments and diverse learners in a full-time, hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Georgia teaching certification in the subject area of instruction.
• Clearance Certificate required within the first 30 days of hire.
• Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to the GACA curriculum and state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and collaborate within MTSS/RTI to plan Tier 2 and 3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations are implemented with fidelity.
• Use assessment data to diagnose learning needs, plan instruction, and monitor progress.
• Maintain knowledge of assigned courses and general K–12 curriculum pathways.
