Longroad Energy in Boston is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide day-to-day IT support for employees, handling hardware, software, and network issues. The role is hybrid, onsite four days per week with one remote day, and offers a clear path for professional growth within a collaborative team.

You will troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, VPNs and enterprise apps, manage onboarding/offboarding, and help maintain security and asset records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in help desk or similar end‑user support.
• Associate's degree or completion of IT/technical training program.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to deliver clear, step‑by‑step instructions to users.
• Ability to work on‑site in the Boston office four days per week.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% to other offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day end‑user technical support.
• Log and track incidents and service requests in Freshservice.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, OS, software.
• Support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, VPN, and security tools.
• Set up and troubleshoot conference rooms and shared tech.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to resolve issues.
